"Remarkable substance, firm tannin, wood present but integrated, great expression of terroir, great future." (Le Guide Bettane & Desseauve des Vins de France 2014). An old vine with delicate aromas, with notes of discreet wild berries, cigar and mocha. The tannat provides a fine, intelligent structure on the straightforward palate. Nose of spices, orange, quince. Mouth: ripe, elegant, unctuous tannins. Black fruit and hints of mocha (a striking impression!). Conclusion: fresh and harmonious on the palate, a great fine winter wine that goes well with many dishes, not just stews and potées!
