Marc Kreydenweiss
Located in Andlau, Alsace, the domaine Kreydenweiss is nestled at the foot of the Vosges mountains, benefiting from a continental climate and a wide variety of terroirs.

Marc Kreydenweiss, a committed winemaker, has been applying biodynamic principles since 1989. This viticultural practice is an integral part of the identity of Domaine Marc Kreydenweiss. Since 2007, his son Antoine has pursued this commitment, with the aim of producing wines of character that bring out the best in each of the estate's terroirs.

The Marc Kreydenweiss estate covers 13.5 hectares of vines, including the three grands crus of the Andlau commune: Wiebelsberg, Moenchberg, Kastelberg, as well as Kirchberg de Barr (another grand cru).

Every year, the Kreydenweiss family calls on an artist to illustrate the labels. In this way, by combining the know-how of the winemaker with the creativity of the artist, each bottle becomes a unique piece of art.

"Exceptional care

"Right from the first nose, Kastelberg asserts its singularity: a nose of pumice and peppermint, an unyielding structure, sharp but enveloped in a great sweetness of fruit, in which the expression of schist purifies and interminably prolongs the finish." (Le Guide RVF 2024)

90/100 Robert Parker

"Kritt Klevner 2015 is built on high ripeness and partially over-ripeness of the Pinot Auxerrois grape, from 50-60 year-old vines with a yield of 25 hectoliters per hectare. The wine opens with ripe, aromatic fruit and a delicate honey flavor, but reflects the Quartz Kritt terroir. Round to opulent, lush and elegant, with a fine tannic structure and ripe acidity, this is a sublime white, very sensual in a semi-dry/half-sweet style. The finish is well structured and slightly saline." (Wine Advocate - 2017)
