"Winemaker of the Year for Beaujolais in the 2023 edition of the Guide, Franck Chavy is true to form. Here, he delivers a cuvée that is harmonious, powerful and long on the palate. Careful vinification has tamed the generosity of the 2022 vintage to produce a Morgon that will keep for a long time". (Le Guide Hachette des Vins 2024)

About the wine:
Winemaker of the Year for Beaujolais in the 2023 edition of the Guide, Franck Chavy is true to form. Here, he delivers a cuvée that is harmonious, powerful and long on the palate. Careful vinification has enabled him to tame the generosity of the 2022 vintage to produce a Morgon with good ageing potential.
About the domain :
Son and grandson of winegrowers, Franck Chavy set up in 1991 with a few hectares of Morgon. Through buyouts and sharecropping, he has expanded his estate to 9.5 ha, while at the same time making his mark in the Guide, where he is a sure bet. This success is undoubtedly due to his high vine density (10,000 vines/ha) and long maceration periods.
