A surprisingly complex white Beaujolais that outclasses the appellation. Herbaceous notes of lime blossom are followed on the palate by a fine balance between smoothness and crisp lemony notes, a freshness that awakens your taste buds right through to the long, mineral finish. We love it!

"The Morgon Côte du Py 2021 is excellent, offering aromas of cherries, plums and berries mixed with notes of peony, ember and sweet spices. Medium to full-bodied, ample and fleshy, it is seamless and succulent, with melting tannins, lively acids and a long, precise finish. After the richer, more powerful 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2020 vintages, the 2021 marks a return to a style of more classic proportions, although Burgaud has done an excellent job of avoiding excess and maximizing the potential of these riper vintages." Morgon Les Charmes, produced from a single one-hectare plot in the "Les Charmes" locality at 350 m altitude, on granite soil, is a fairly powerful, intense wine, with spicy notes and good structure on the palate, as well as supple, round tannins. A Morgon with character!

This Cuvée Réserve, made from old vines, is aged in oak barrels for several months to refine its tannins, in the great tradition of ageing great Burgundy wines. A dense, mineral wine, which releases very ripe aromas after a year... A Morgon of choice!

This Morgon, the flagship of Jean-Marc Burgaud's estate, is racy and very typical on the nose, showing great concentration on the palate with a lovely grain of firm but ripe tannins, in harmony with the wine's structure. You'll have to wait a little for it to express its power. A great wine for laying down!
