This cuvée comes from granite and manganese soils in the communes of Chénas and Romanèche Thorins. A lovely Moulin-à-Vent that develops aromas of wilted roses and candied fruit. A full-bodied, heady wine, racy and robust, which will wait patiently for its moment... Very charming!

Rated estate (2022 guide) Award-winning wines (This producer's wines are regularly recognized by the guide)

About the estate:

On the border between Burgundy and Beaujolais, this château takes its name from Sieur Bonnet, alderman of the town of Mâcon, who built a manor house there in 1630, where Lamartine later stayed. Acquired by the Perrachon family in 1973, the estate has 22 hectares of vineyards. Pierre-Yves Perrachon, who has been at the helm since 1988, was joined in 2013 by his daughter Charlotte, an oenologist. He has also partnered with a winegrower from the Mâconnais region to complement his estate with a wine merchant business, Bourgogne Sélect.
