Huguenot Estate
Domaine Huguenot is a wine estate that has been passed down from father to son for 10 generations. Now run by Philippe Huguenot, Domaine Huguenot covers 23 hectares in the Côte de Nuits, in the Marsannay, Fixin, and Gevrey-Chambertin appellations.

For more than 20 years now, Domaine Huguenot has understood the importance of practicing more environmentally friendly cultivation methods. As a result, year after year, the work in the vineyards has evolved considerably. To begin with, no more pesticides or insecticides are used, and there is more plowing and intervention in the vineyards throughout the year. 2013 will be Domaine Huguenot's first certified Organic vintage.

After meticulous work in the vineyards, the wines of Domaine Huguenot are then gently vinified. All harvested grapes are systematically sorted on a sorting table, and the grapes are handled using gravity to keep the berries intact. All wines are aged in barrels for 8 to 18 months, depending on the appellation. Long aging guarantees purity, complexity, and precision of the fruit.
