In its power and concentration, this wine is almost reminiscent of Drouhin's work in Oregon rather than Burgundy. "Famous vineyard

Here's a famous vineyard! South of Beaune, very close to the town, Pommard is believed to be one of the oldest winegrowing sites on the Côte. Pommard Grands Epenots has a beautiful deep ruby color. The nose is elegant and complex: nuances of red fruit (blackcurrant, redcurrant, morello cherry), a traditional expression of Pinot Noir, with toasty, spicy notes. Full-bodied on the palate, with ripe, supple tannins. Very long finish. Best cellared for several years.

This garnet-red Nuits-Saint-Georges 1er cru delivers intense notes of wild berries mingling with hints of truffle and licorice. The balance between power and finesse is perfect.
