"Already delicious, all balanced and so crunchy!"
"Elegant and fresh with a wonderful delicacy. I love the floral and red cherry notes. So filigree that it's hard to believe it contains 14% alcohol! Already delicious, but with great aging potential. To drink or to keep. (James Suckling 2021)

Rated (guide 2021) 90-92/100 (Wonderful wine)
About the wine:
The 2019 Beaune 1er Cru Les Cras presents itself well, offering aromas of sweet berries, licorice and dried flowers. Medium-bodied, bright and mineral, it's an elegant, precise interpretation of this hillside premier cru supérieur, a Drouhin cuvée that only recently began to be bottled separately.
RVF - La Revue du Vin de France / Guide des Meilleurs Vins de France
Domaine rated (guide 2022) 2*Stars (These great estates, often endowed with fabulous terroirs, are must-haves which, thanks to their consistency and the excellence of their production, must be included in the cellars of discerning wine lovers).
About the domain :
The house is now run by Frédéric Drouhin, supported by his sister Véronique for the wines and his brother Philippe in the vineyards. In July 2013, it opened an oenotheque in the heart of Beaune. It has found its cruising speed and is establishing itself as a safe bet. The house relies on a biodynamic vineyard particularly well endowed with great whites, in Côte-de-Beaune but also in Chablis (wines sold under the Drouhin-Vaudon brand), including the famous Clos des Mouches.

Wine rated (2020 guide) 91-93/100
About the wine:
The Beaune Cras 1er Cru 2019 has a very distinctive bouquet, with aromas of granite, almost flint, infusing red fruit. A strong marine influence appears with time. The palate is beautifully balanced, with fine delineation, good firm structure and a solid, rather nervous, crisply textured finish. Freshness abounds. This Beaune should drink well for 12-15 years. Excellent.
