"A supple, feminine wine!
"Deep, almost black in color, it has an impressive concentration of dark plums, with notes of earth, smoke and a hint of leather. The tannins are firm but very finely grained. In its power and concentration, this wine is almost reminiscent of Drouhin's work in Oregon rather than Burgundy. This clos is in the center of the village of Les Godeaux, at the top of the slope above Lavieres, with south-facing vines." (Decanter 2021)

RVF - La Revue du Vin de France / Guide des Meilleurs Vins de France
Domaine rated (guide 2022) 2*Stars (These great estates, often endowed with fabulous terroirs, are must-haves which, thanks to their consistency and the excellence of their production, must be included in the cellars of discerning wine lovers).
About the domain :
The house is now run by Frédéric Drouhin, supported by his sister Véronique for the wines and his brother Philippe in the vineyards. In July 2013, it opened an oenotheque in the heart of Beaune. It has found its cruising speed and is establishing itself as a safe bet. The house relies on a biodynamic vineyard particularly well endowed with great whites, in Côte-de-Beaune but also in Chablis (wines sold under the Drouhin-Vaudon brand), including the famous Clos des Mouches.
