With its beautiful bright golden yellow color, this Savennières is crystal clear and refined on the nose, with hints of blond wood from the aging process. The attack is full-bodied and elegant, thanks in particular to beautiful mineral bitterness. The length persists with a chiseled, lemony character and a salty finish. A great gastronomic white wine from the Loire!

Eye
Bright golden yellow color
Nose
Crystal clear and refined. The palette is restrained but marked by great purity. A few nuances of aging and blond wood underscore an aromatic ensemble of iodine and minerals.
Mouth
Ample and racy, with a well-controlled range of beautiful mineral bitterness and a hint of root. A remarkable length on the palate with a chiseled, lemony finish, giving it a long, invigorating, salty persistence.

Bettane & Desseauve
Wine rated 16/20 (2014 vintage) (Very good wine)
Rated estate (2019 guide) 2 stars (A serious and recommendable production, but a little more consistent and uniform than the previous one)
About the estate:
Anjou, Savennières, Coteaux-du-Layon, and Chaume find subtle and sincere expression here. A sure bet.

Wine rated 16/20 + Favorite 2014 vintage) (Very good wine)
Rated estate (2019 guide) Selected (Please note that this guide is a ranking and, as such, all the estates listed in it, even those without stars, represent, in our opinion, the excellence of French production.)
About the estate:
Roger-François Béguinot, who made his fortune in baby food, and his wife fell in love with Château Soucherie in 2007. This 28-hectare estate is beautifully situated on a south-facing schist hillside between Beaulieu and Rochefort, in the Anjou, Savennières, Coteaux du Layon, and Chaume appellations.

Very disappointing; does not correspond at all to the wine advertised and described. Discourages me from buying Savennières again.
