"It's on these terroirs and thanks to this river that noble rot can do its work and settle on the grapes, concentrating them in sugar. This 2011 has all the characteristics of these sweet wines, with notes of dried fruit and acacia, a supple mouthfeel and a slightly acidic finish. Enjoy with fruit salad or pan-fried foie gras". Expert opinion
Bettane & Desseauve
Domain rated (2019 guide) 2*Stars (A serious and recommendable production, but a little more regular and homogeneous than the previous one)
About the domain :
Anjou, Savennières, Coteaux-du-Layon and Chaume find here a fine and sincere expression. A sure bet.
Guide Hachette des vins
Rated wine (2014 guide) Cited (Successful wine)
About the wine:
This property, located in the heart of the vineyard, offers a magnificent view over the Layon valley. It's on these terroirs, and thanks to this river, that noble rot can do its work and settle on the grapes, concentrating them in sugar. This 2011 has all the characteristics of these sweet wines, with notes of dried fruit and acacia, a supple mouthfeel and a slightly acidic finish. Enjoy with fruit salad or pan-fried foie gras.

Domain rated (2019 guide) Selected (We remind you that this guide is a prize list and as such, all the domains that appear in it, even without a star, represent, in our eyes, the excellence of French production).
About the domain :
Roger-François Béguinot, who made his fortune in baby food, and his wife fell in love with Château Soucherie in 2007. This 28-hectare estate is ideally situated on a south-facing schist slope between Beaulieu and Rochefort, in the Anjou, Savennières, Coteaux du Layon and Chaume appellations.
