Table wine
In France, there are 4 grades of wine classification, regulated by specific laws: Appellation d'Origine Contrôlée (AOC), Appellation d'Origine Vin de Qualité Supérieure, Vin de Pays and Vin de Table.

Vin de Table represents 40-50% of total French production. These are everyday wines. In fact, this is the lowest hierarchical classification in France. There are few production rules to follow. The Vin de Table designation was adopted in the first Community regulations on wine in the 1970s. The label may not bear any identifying geographical location other than the country. Typically, Vins de Table are blends of different grape varieties and grapes from all over France, and sometimes from different European Union countries. Wines using grape varieties harvested in France carry the label "Vin de Table Français".

Notes : Robert Parker 91/100, RVF 16,5/20
"The smoky aromas of the 100% Macabeu Plénitude 2012 are reminiscent of Pinot Gris, with its notes of pear and candied lemon zest. Syrupy on the palate, like a confection, it is no less interesting and will shine on desserts over the next six years. More complexity and balance will come with time." Few people like to vinify 100% Carignan cuvées. Robert Creus produces this Cuvée Léonie from very old vines from the Saint-Christol terroir. With its lovely aromas of black fruits punctuated by hints of spice, this is a wine of solid body, dense substance and melted tannins, sustained by good freshness. A success that can be appreciated today with a fine piece of beef, for example...

A flattering wine on the nose, seductive from the very first sip: a combination of ripe black fruits and spices, in a massive, opulent body, but superb balance and freshness. Decant for a long time (at least 3 hours) to appreciate it with spicy food. It will be at its best in at least 5 years.

88/100 Robert Parker

"Finally bottled last September after finishing malo, Brun's 2010 Roussanne presents a slightly bittersweet approach, the green melon and gooseberry aromas reminiscent of some Sauvignons. A suffusion of flower petals, chalk, green herbs and white pepper make a very good impression in a mouth of polished texture. It finishes with admirable persistence and a great deal of uprightness and refreshment." (Wine Advocate 2013 - Robert Parker)
