Winery rated 1*Star (A serious, recommendable production, consistent with what one would expect from its appellation(s))

About the estate:

Victor and Vincent Lebreton are faithful interpreters of the Coteaux-de-l'Aubance. The brothers took over the family estate in 1986 and cultivate 60 hectares of vines on different plots and types of schist. This allows them to produce single-vineyard wines with subtle nuances, reflecting the resonance of blue (Le Tertereaux), gray (Clos-des-Huttières) and purple (Le Clos-Prieur) schist soils. A friendly place with reasonable prices. The range naturally shows its best qualities in the Aubance. The reds are simple and delicious, focused on immediate pleasure.

Rated estate (2025 guide) Award-winning wines (This producer's wines are regularly recognized by the guide)

About the estate:

This estate located on the outskirts of Angers is a benchmark in the region, particularly when it comes to "Angevin delicacies," with superb Coteaux-de-l'Aubance wines on the menu. At the helm of the estate created by his grandfather Victor and developed by his father, also named Victor, Vincent Lebreton has been in charge since 1995, managing (in a very sustainable manner) 75 hectares of slate-rich terroir. The sixth generation is now supporting him.
