"Intense color, youthful highlights. Attractive nose combining morello cherry, red berries, licorice, spices, and a hint of animal notes. Silky and taut on the palate, slowly unfolding its rich, youthful flavors supported by ripe tannins. Harmonious, with a salty finish." (Gilbert & Gaillard)

Rated estate (2022 guide) Award-winning wines (This producer's wines are regularly recognized by the guide)
About the estate:
This estate, renowned for its consistent quality, particularly its Lirac wines in all three colors and its Tavel wines, was founded in 1950 by Armand Maby. In 2005, his grandson Richard took over the reins of the vineyard, 53 hectares located mainly on the rounded pebbles of the Vallongue plateau; the vines are cultivated "naturally" and have been in conversion to organic farming since 2019. Since 2011, the eminent Rhône oenologist Philippe Cambie has been advising the estate.
