"While Nessun dorma is an aria from a Puccini opera, in the glass the tenor is called Syrah (85%) and sets its own tempo. Jammy black fruits, spices, and cade mingle in the bouquet. The palate offers a sappy, fresh and concentrated texture, supported by firm tannins still slightly under the yoke of aging (30% new wood). A well-orchestrated harmony." (Le Guide Hachette 2024)

About the estate:
This estate, renowned for its consistent quality, particularly its Lirac wines in all three colors and its Tavel wines, was founded in 1950 by Armand Maby. In 2005, his grandson Richard took over the reins of the vineyard, 53 hectares located mainly on the rounded pebbles of the Vallongue plateau; the vines are cultivated "naturally" and have been in conversion to organic farming since 2019. Since 2011, the eminent Rhône oenologist Philippe Cambie has been advising the estate.
