"A little treat

"After 24 days' maceration and 9 months' barrel ageing, it's normal to find a very deep garnet color, and above all a certain aromatic timidity before aeration. After an initial touch of wood, tapenade, very ripe cherry and blackcurrant appear with great intensity. Red fruit then asserts itself on a palate of elegant, soft, melted, balanced tannins. "For the beautiful moments of conviviality!"

Made from old Grenache and Roussanne vines, this Côtes du Roussillon explores a wide range of aromas (peach, acacia, pear). The barrel ageing brings brioche and caramel notes as well as a lovely roundness. A perfect match for grilled white meats and fish.

« Élodie et Matthieu Collet ont pris la suite de Pierre et Marie-Claude Fontaneil de très belle façon et signent des vins qui n'ont pas perdu en personnalité. Ici, ils proposent une superbe vinification en cuves du grenache noir et du mourvèdre. Brillant, dans sa robe pourpre intense, ce 2016 présente un nez séducteur en diable, sur la groseille, la myrtille et le poivre, évoluant vers le grillé et le cuir. La bouche apparaît gourmande, ample, savoureuse, étayée par une trame tannique puissante mais veloutée, au grain fin et élégant. Issu de vieilles vignes de grenache blanc, de malvoisie et de roussanne, ce Côtes du Roussillon explore une large palette aromatique (pêche, acacia, poire). Le passage en fût apporte des notes briochées et de caramel ainsi qu'une belle rondeur. Il s'accordera très facilement avec vos grillades de viandes blanches comme de poissons. Pour les beaux moments de convivialité !
