Domaine Fontanel
The Fontanel Estate is located in Tautavel, in the foothills of the Corbières. The property covers 30 hectares, 20 of which are vineyards managed using sustainable methods. Since 2017, Élodie and Matthieu Collet have been at the helm of the Fontanel Estate, accompanied by Pierre Fontaniel, the former owner. The estate produces various leading appellations from the region, the most renowned of which are Côtes du Roussillon Villages, Maury, and dry Maury.
The terroirs of Fontanel Estate consist of clay-limestone soils, which produce open wines with mellow tannins, and schist marl soils, which give the wines a pleasant acidity and delicacy.
